- Undecided, and we know it matters. The desktop-tool norm we like: perpetual license with a year of updates included. Final model lands with the launch pricing.
- Will the free tier stay useful?
- Yes. The free tier is the full transfer client, including the queue that survives crashes and every provider. Pro adds power workflows on top; it never takes the core away.
- Do I need an account?
- No account for the free tier, ever. Pro will use a license key designed for a mostly-offline desktop app.
